The Dover Street Market x Nike Dunk Low “White Velvet” is a February 2022 collaboration between the luxury fashion boutique and Nike that updates the retro basketball shoe with a new velvet construction. The “White Velvet” replaces the Dunk’s original leather construction with plush velvet for a casual yet refined look. The entire upper appears in white velvet, including the base and overlay panels. The Swoosh that is found on either side of the shoe is also imagined in white velvet. A mini Swoosh appears on the lateral side of the forefoot and a tonal “Nike” logo is found on the heel.
